Council of the Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) has said that the repeatedly unveiled statements by the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) are wrong.
The statement the EPRDF Council sent to Walta indicated that the pronouncements by TPLF and some of its leaders are wrong due to two main reasons.
The front’s statements are not in line with the principles and norms of the EPRDF and are wrong also in terms content.
The planned union between the coalition parties of EPRDF is not aimed at creating a unitary state as the TPLF alleges, the statement noted. The union is not going to crush the rights of nations and nationalities as TPLF and its leadership is stating lately.
“Even it is wrong to state that the agenda of union is brought to the fore by the leaders of the current reform,” the statement noted.
